Hi guys ,
Today at Enrich I went to Seaward Bush with Katie and the crew. At Seaward Bush we met up with Tim and Alfrado. They are the people who are helping us with our environment project. First of all Tim gave ten of us a possum trap. Unfortunately I didn't get one but never mind. Then we started to walk!
We had to to check the wax tabs that we put out last week we only got a few nibbles. We put out a few traps with apple in them because possums love apples. Next week we will need to check the traps hopefully we get something!
After we got back from Seaward Bush I did 3D drawing with Darryn it was really hard but I am glad I've done it because when I finished it looked AWESOME!!! Here is a picture of some of my 3D drawings I hope you like it .

Hello everyone ,
Today at Enrich I played a game of leader board chess and I won against Briana .I am now 9th on the leader board which I am very proud of!! After that I did debating with Katie and my team got a draw.After lunch I had to go to see Lindsay Hazley for my documentury and I got to hold a tuatara and have a tuatara on my shoulder!!! Which was AWESOME!! When I came back I did 3D drawings with Darryn.

This morning I did debating with Alana. Our topic was why we thought that children under 18 should not be able to use facebook. I was on the team that thought children under 18 should be able to use facebook. My team won the debate...but only by two points!! I was the team captain. At first I didn't want to be team captain but I gave it a go and I actually really enjoyed it. I can't wait till next time I do debating!!

Do you know what Elephant toothpaste is? Well I'm going to tell you. Elephant toothpaste is hydrogen peroxide, food colouring dishwashing liquid and yeast mixed together.When all of the ingredients are mixed together they make a chemical reaction that makes them go all foamy and bubbly. But because Elephant toothpaste has hydrogen peroxide in it (which is poisonous ) elephants can't use it! I did the experiment with Jenni and it was super fun, but my one didn't turn out so great so here is a picture of another groups hope you like it, have a awesome day ,bye, Joey.

Today at Enrich we drew a design for a mural. In your design you had to have icons to do with New Zealand or Invercargill. I chose Tim Shadbolt as a gorilla with Henry the tuatara on top of the water tower having a drink of speights beer. In the background I had mountains with the flag and sheep on them and I also had a drawing of New World and the museum in the sky. I had a helicoptor with a banner saying ILT. For my border I had a Maori kowhai panel. It looks really cool!

Today, I had "Sing Out" at my home school, and a shared lunch, so I didn't get to Enrich until 1pm! I had to catch up on my reflection and self-assessment for the term. Here is my reflection sheet:

To kick off the day we did a Wilson game - you had to get into partners (mine was Izzy). You had to stay in a hula hoop while batting a balloon down the walkway. We had to race another team!
At chess time I chalenged Pippa - it was a draw.
Shortly after chess I did canstruction. My group is doing a minion. In my previous posts I told you that we were doing a Highlanders jersey, but we decided to change our minds because the Highlanders jersey didn't look anything like a Highlanders jersey and so we went back to the drawing board. That's how we came up with the idea of making the minion. Above there is a picture of some minions. I hope you enjoy! Thats all for now, bye, Joey.
