Self Reflection for Term 2

Today, I had "Sing Out" at my home school, and a shared lunch, so I didn't get to Enrich until 1pm!  I had to catch up on my reflection and self-assessment for the term.  Here is my reflection sheet:

Kia Ora everybody,
To kick off the day we did a Wilson game - you had to get into partners (mine was Izzy).  You had to stay in a hula hoop while batting a balloon down the walkway.  We had to race another team!
At chess time I chalenged Pippa - it was a draw. 

Shortly after chess I did canstruction. My group is doing a minion. In my previous posts I told you that we were doing a Highlanders jersey, but we decided to change our minds because the Highlanders  jersey didn't look anything like a Highlanders jersey and so we went back to the drawing board. That's how we came up with the idea of making the minion. Above there is a picture of some minions. I hope you enjoy! Thats all for now, bye, Joey.

Tapa Cloth

Kai Ora everybody. This week at Enrich I started my tapa cloth. A tapa cloth is where you choose one or two images to do with the  pacific islands or what you assaociate with the pacific islands. I chose a jellyfish and a flower that the pacific hula dancers wear in their hair. Above there is a picture of the jellyfish and flower that I drew. Thanks for listening. Bye Joey

Week 5 at Enrich.

Kia Ora,everybody today we had chess time to see who would go to the chess tournament I was only 6 people away. :( For talent develement I'm doing canstruction and  we had to make a 3D model of what the Highlanders jersey would look like.We used a program called sketch up it was really hard to make all of the cans fit  together I so do not want to be an architect when I grow up because they have to use this program all the time. Passion time at Enrich.

Today at Enrich we did passion time  I am still illustrating a picture book.The book is about a girl called Kat and her cat Captain Awesome, and they fall through  loose floor board to another world.But this girl called Elizabeth and her posh bunny called Fluffy the lll are really mean and bully her.This is a picture of where I got my inspiration from for Kat. 

Passion time at Enrich for week 3

 Kai ora  everybody, today at Enrich we started a new thing called passion time. Passion time is where you can choose what you want to do as your passion. I choose illustrating an picture book, I can't wait to do passion time next week.That's all for now see you next week,Joey.

Field trip to wearable arts

This morning at Enrich we went to wearable arts at the museum.It was so awesome because there were touch screens so you can see the outfits being worn.My favourite outfit was ''The Butterfly'' it took 300 hours to make ''The Butterfly''because it glowed in the dark.See you soon,bye Joey.
